Curly Cam TV Debut at 2012 Essence Music Festival




Have you heard about Curly Cam TV? Well it is a new natural hair web series that launched last weekend at the 2012 Essence Music Festival. 
 
The series is sponsored by Strength of Nature (Beautiful Textures, African Pride, Elasta QP) and it features creator and host Kimberly Walker as she travels around the nation highlighting all things curly. Above Curly Cam creator and host Kimberly Walker.

Kimberly Walker is a beauty aficionado with an expertise in multi-textural hair care and African-American skin care. As the contributing beauty expert for EBONY.com, she shares her personal beauty testimonies and tips from her black book of celebrity hairstylists, makeup artists and skin care gurus. 

Kimberly is the former beauty editor of BET.com and has written for Upscale, Honeymag.com, AOL City’s Best, 944Rolling OutPynk Magazine.

The debut was held at the African Pride Beauty Suite, and naturalistas were treated to a preview of the premiere episode, featuring bloggers, Adrienne Brown of Memyhairandthecity.com (pictured above), Alexis Felder of Curlscoilsandkinks.com and Tarin Boone of Fro Fashion Week
 


Actress Tasha Smith (pictured above) and Cynthia Bailey of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ also stopped by Curly Cam TV for a little hair dish.
